What is a PCCR Meeting?
PCCR stands for Plan for College and Career Readiness. It involves an annual individual or group meeting with the school counselor, where they discuss school achievement, goals, strengths and challenges, the opportunities available in high school and beyond, and any personal concerns. During the individual & group PCCR counselors may discuss:
- * School performance/test scores
- * Interests and personality
- * Future goals/plans for after high school
- * High school graduation requirements
- * Programs for earning college credit in high school
- * Scholarships and college savings options
- * Career and college information
Individual Meetings8th grade students and their parents meet with our school counselors to discuss their plans for High School, choose classes and discuss college and career options.
All 8 grade students who have taken the Pre-ACT Test will discuss these results at the PCCR Meeting. How to ScheduleAn email will be sent in December with more information. You can also call or stop by the Counseling Office anytime to make your appointment.

group MeetingsThe counselor meets with the 7th Grade in their classes. The students discuss future plans, including higher education and careers.
Students are given a PCCR form in class to fill out, and review with their parents at home. They are expected to return the signed form. |
4 year plan
At the individual PCCR Meeting, you will fill out a 4 year plan document with the counselor to help you as you register for High School.
